I've been cooking my computer!

I’ve been cooking my computer! It didn’t use to make noise but now it does. It’s a funny conversation with my partner because a Macbook Air also makes a lot of noise.

The first time I heard it was ¹ I was making a film slicer; it uses computer vision to understand hard cuts / jump cuts in any film based on existing film editing patterns with a python visualization it was really beautiful.

The first iteration didn’t make noise and I was looking at the monitor and seeing no GPU usage, no ANE then I just started asking to add more computing; then it started making noise.

Haha let’s hope I get a new computer soon because I’m cooking this old M1 :)
